I hope everyone doing great. Its been two years i left my blogger account without new post. Yes. Bersawang blog. Some peoples nowadays are more to instagram rather than blogger. I feel like blogger still an appropriate medium to share your experience and knowledge. Last month i have a trip to Surabaya , Indonesia with my girlfriends, it suppose to be a large group trip , tapi apakan daya when some of them have others commitment.

Why from all over Indonesia we choose Surabaya? Haha. The sudden decision comes after we read one of the blogger share their wonderful trip and photo at Surabaya. In a week we book flight ticket and contact the same agent that the blogger recommended. So after dealing with the agent, we have our 5 days 4 night trip covering Surabaya - Bromo - Ijen - Malang for cost 2.75 juta IDR or RM800 (+/-) / person included with transportation , hotel and guider. If you have more members to join, then its more cheaper. Ticket flight to Surabaya we get at RM400. Dah tak larat nak usha hari hari harga sama jua. So total pakej dalam RM 1200. Expenses kitorg bertiga untuk makan and others yg kena bayar sendiri hanya dalam RM150. So still under budget, trip lima hari tau!. Planning tu kitorang buat bulan mac 2017 , trip nya bulan october 2017 , tak ke meroyan tiap bulan nak tunggu trip hujung tahun ni. Haha. 

Hello Surabaya!

The guider (didik) , take us from Surabaya airport , bawak pergi beli simcard and luch. Then bawak pusing sekitar surabaya before  gerak ke Bromo. Jarak antara bandar ke Bromo , Ijen dan Malang ni jauh antara satu sama lain, masa memang banyak habis atas jalan. Reach Bromo around 10pm , by 3am dah kena siap utk catch Bromo sunrise. Need to remind yang cuaca kat sana boleh sampai 10 degree. Sejuk. Jangan lupa bawak jacket and glove. 

After Bromo sunrise, guider take us to see kawah Bromo, to kawah bromo ni have provided with horses services around 450k idr, if tak nak boleh jalan kaki, but it takes about 25min walk dan kena naik tangga pulak. Pilihan di tangan anda. Hehe. Kawah Bromo is active volcano, boleh dengar bunyi yg agak kuat dr kawah tersebut. Some others attraction around kawah bromo ni, is bukit teletubbies , savanah and pasir berbisik. 

Our journey continue to Air Terjun Madakaripura which is the highest waterfall (200m) in Java Island and second highest in Indonesia. At first we thought it just a normal waterfall, so we ignore some local trying to sell raincoat to us. Rupanya nak melalui air terjun tu memang confirm akan kebasahan, akhirnya terpaksa jua membeli raicoat. It is the awesome waterfall & full of history. 

Hari kedua perjalanan diteruskan untuk ke Ijen yang mengambil masa lebih 5 jam daripada Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, memang sepanjang perjalanan tu dihabiskan untuk tidur sebab akan start hiking pukul 1 pagi nanti. To be honest we are not hikers so dengan takda stamina nya mendaki la kami menaiki Mount Ijen secara perlahan lahan. haha. The highest elevation of Mount Ijen is 2799M above sea level and it takes about 2hours hiking, this Mount ijen also have turquoise acidic lake and be recognised as the largest highly acidic crater lake in the world. Besides that this lake side is also a sulfur mining for local peoples. Locals will carry average 80kilo of sulfur to be sell at IDR 90k for one kilo. ah. forget to mention to reach the location it take 45 minutes walking using rocky road. We are lucky to witness blue fire crater during this trip, the blue fire is sulfuric gas emerges from a crack when reaching temperature up to 600 celcius. 

There are many interesting places around Surabaya, some of the places that we visited is Kampung Warna Warni Jodipan, Coban Rondo , ladang epal, and some Surabaya's landmark.  I just like to spend my vacation to do something adventurous and to conclude this trip, SURABAYA IS AWESOME!
